Healing Through Embodiment goes deeper than Asana.
Most programs focus on the what (postures). We focus on the how (the nervous system) and the why (your Dharma). Through 1-on-1 mentorship and a commitment to truth and liberation you will emerge not just as a teacher, but as a sovereign leader in the healing arts.
We don't just teach yoga; we facilitate the return to the Self.
Graduates of this training receive 200 contact hours of education and mentorship.
In addition to your 200-Hour Trauma Informed Teacher Certification, accredited by Yoga Alliance to Elevated Standards, you will walk away from this program with direct experiences of transformation, and a deep sense of community.

A Training That Meets You Where You AreSacred Being YTT offers multiple pathways of participation, allowing students from across the country to engage in a way that feels aligned, accessible, and deeply supportive.
Whether you are joining from afar or gathering in person, the intention is the same:
to cultivate embodied presence, ethical teaching, and a felt understanding of yoga beyond the mat.
This training is devoted as a pathway of liberation for all beings.
Hybrid Immersion PathThis is a deep and intentional container that spans the course of 8 months to allow for direct experience, application, mastery, and integration of skills, bridging philosophy, embodiment, and teaching practice into real life. This pathway unfolds as a hybrid journey, weaving weekend intensives, virtual sessions, a 3 night retreat, and individual mentorship.
This path includes:
Weekend intensive sessions -We will gather once a month from 9am-5pm to immerse in tools, healing themes, ethical practices, asana, pranayama, self awarenesss, community, and direct experiences of the yogic lifestyle.
A four-day retreat immersion in the heart of the forest. With sacred land and intenytional eco- spisritual retreat centers is in west michigan Big Sur, California where practice and relationship deepens through ritual, nature, and community.
Virtual sessions - held 1-2 times per month for practice, reading discussions, and continuity.
Ongoing 1:1 mentorship for personal integration and guidance
This structure allows for deep transformation that allows students to weave yoga into the way that they live every day.
Mentorship at the CenterRegardless of pathway, mentorship is central to the Sacred Being experience.
Students are supported through individualized sessions that offer space for:
Personal inquiry and integration
Exploring one’s unique teaching voice
Ethical considerations and boundaries
Being witnessed in the unfolding process

(The Yamas & Niyamas)
Embodied Ethics: Move beyond theoretical understanding of the Yamas and Niyamas to integrate Ahimsa (Non-violence), Satya (Truthfulness), Asteya (Non-Stealing), Brahmacarya (Non-excess), Aparigraha (Non- grasping), Saucha (Purity) and Santosha (Contentment) as lived practices on and off the mat.
The Path of Sovereignty: Explore Svadyaya (Self-Study), Ishvara Pranidhana (Surrender) and Tapas (Discipline) as tools for personal transformation and spiritual connection.
Commit to your Soul: Through daily commitment to you Sadhana (spiritual practice) and exploration of your Sankalpa, Purusha, and Prakriti you will find unshakeable liberation in knowing the truth of who you are.
The Subtle Body & Energetic Anatomy
Power of Prana : Facilitate transformation as you layer in pranayama, the original breathwork, into the embodied experiences
Chakra Integration: Master the seven-chakra system—from the grounding of Muladhara to the cosmic connection of Sahasrara—mapping emotional themes to physical regions of the body.
Kosha Mapping: Differentiate between the five layers of being (Annamaya through Anandamaya), learning how to nourish the physical, energetic, mental, intuitive, and bliss bodies.
Vayu Mastery: Understand the five movements of Prana (Apana, Samana, Udana, Vyana, and Prana) to direct energy intentionally during asana and pranayama.

Safety & Grounding: Learn to establish a "Brave Space" where physical and psychological safety is the foundation for all movement.
Themes of Transformation and Resilience: Hold space for people to experience themes that offer experiences of resilience that reverberate through the body by skillfully guiding with embodied cues and inquiries.
The Language of Choice: Master the art of invitational language and "Choice-Based" cueing to empower students in their own agency.
Navigating the Edge: Develop the skills to guide students to their "growth edge" while maintaining self-compassion and nervous system regulation.
Asana Styles & Embodiment Techniques
Stylistic Versatility: Experience diverse yoga lineages with the intention of showing you more about what you value as a teacher, including the alignment of Iyengar, the heat of Ashtanga, the flow of Vinyasa, the kundalini-awakening of Kundalini, and the deep release of Yin.
The 8-Step Class Process: Learn a repeatable, professional framework for class sequencing—from initial Contexting and Centering to Embodied Experience and final Integration.
Practical Teaching & Articulation
Finding Your Authentic Voice: Practice speaking your truth (Vissudha) through teaching practicums that emphasize your unique wisdom and intuitive leadership.
The Art of Observation: Develop the "Witness" (Vijanamayakosha) to observe yourself and others with transformative compassion.
Integration & Synthesis: Demonstrate the ability to weave elemental themes (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Light, Vibration) into a cohesive, transformative yoga experience.

Erin has been studying and teaching yoga and mindfulness for over 30 years. She is the founder of Sacred Being Yoga, and the creator of Healing Through Embodiment : Trauma-Informed 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.
An educator at heart, she comes alive when she is facilitating vibrant learning communities, and loves to see people awaken to truth. Erin is passionate about the essential role that the body plays in healing, and believes whole heartedly that when we heal ourselves we are healing the world. She is a trusted guide, a life-long learner, and a devotee of the Divine Feminine. She is guided by core values of love, authenticity, curiosity, and liberation.

Jill Guitierrez Wilde
trauma informed yoga teacher, Massage THerapist, eco-spiritual retreat leaderJill Gutierrez Wilde is a yoga teacher, space-holder, and expressive arts practitioner devoted to cultivating connection through movement, community and rhythm. Jill offers a welcoming environment for participants to explore movement, and emotions, using the breath as an anchor. Each class focuses on practicing non-judgment and radical acceptance. Jill holds space for people in subsance abuse recovery sa well as people dealing with chronic illness. She considers this a sacred calling and offers trauma informed yoga as a healing journey combined with practical and spiritual guidance.
Her gatherings are rooted in trauma-informed practices and are designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional expression, and a sense of belonging. By blending elements of yoga, breathwork, and positive affirmations, Jill creates experiences where individuals can reconnect with themselves and others in meaningful and empowering ways. Her work is especially passionate about uplifting women and fostering spaces where collective healing and creativity can thrive.
